Tea-mate Tea Tips

Ordering Tips

Kraft cyclinder containers come in small and large sizes. They are made to order for maximum freshness.

Hot Tea Prep Tips

Choose your desired method to infuse loose leaf tea (tea infuser cup, tea infuser cup insert, tea bag, etc.). For every 8 oz. cup of water, use two teaspoons of loose leaf tea (approximately 1-2 grams of tea).

Brew tea based on preferred strength; recommended steeping time is 5-7 minutes to fully allow tea to infuse into hot water so flavor and health benefits can be extracted. Add additional components (agave, honey, lemon, ginger, etc.) as needed for taste. Enjoy!

Iced Tea Prep Tips

You can infuse the loose leaf tea in hot water as you normally would for a normal cup, but in a larger batch. Once taken off the heat, add the tea and add in any sweeteners so it can nicely dissolve. Be sure to not add the tea into actively boiling water as it may turn out tasting bitter.

You also have the choice of letting the loose leaf tea infuse in cold water in the refrigerator for 8-12 hours and then straining it once done. Add ice and a good, balanced simple syrup + any other components you see fit to enhance the taste. Enjoy!

Taste Tips

There are a number of options when it comes to spicing up your tea. Try some freshly-grated Nutmeg, cinnamon sticks, ground or whole ginger, fresh lemon or even a plant-based milk. You can also add a sweetener like agave or honey, as well as raw sugar. Remember, everything in moderation. Prepare it to your liking and enjoy!
